The Labyrinth Park is by far my favourite park in Barcelona. It is an historic park in Barcelona, built in 1791 for private use, and opened to the public in the 70's. It's 17 acres of manicured walkways, romantic gardens, waterfalls, statues of mythological figures and of course a garden labyrinth in the center. The labyrinth is made of cypress trees surrounding a statue of Eros, god of love.

It is a very tranquil park, well worth visiting to absorb its dreamlike feeling with a quiet walk throughout, or to read a book in an environment quite the opposite of the busy city center.

There is a small fee to enter, however there are two days a week which are free - Wednesdays being one of them.
