If there is a football match on while you are in Barcelona, go see it! The Barcelona football stadium is the largest in Europe and is the 3rd largest in the world. It is home to the Barcelona Football Club (Barca) and it holds 110,000 people. And given their passion for football in Barcelona, usually every seat is taken.

I don't follow football but what an amazing experience I had there. The atmosphere was incredible, the Mexican waves awesome (with the three layers of stands) and you can even join the hundreds who make paper planes throughout the match and attempt to land them down on the field.

Tours of the stadium are also available if you don't get to see a game. The Barcelona Football Club museum is also at the stadium, and is one of the most visited museums in Barcelona. For a football lover interested in the history of the Barcelona football club, this is sure to be another must see. Admission fees apply.
